Windows 9 將包括 Modern UI 2.0 界面更新

微軟在 Windows 8/RT 中採用了 Modern UI，最早被稱爲 Metro UI，但桌面 UI 與 Modern UI 的混合也給微軟帶來了很多負面評價。在 Windows Threshold（Windows 9）中，微軟將推出 Modern UI 2.0 界面。

插播：Neowin 了解到目前有內部版本被標記爲 Windows Technical Preview for Enterprise，目前版本號是 982X，預覽版進度正常。

WinBeta 了解到，Windows Threshold 新的 Modern UI 將包括很多改進。桌面 UI 與 Modern UI 相互獨立，只能獲得桌面 UI 或 Modern UI。「平板版本」將不包括桌面，只有 Modern UI 沈浸式體驗；桌面環境的開始選單就可以像開始畫面那麽用。

Windows Threshold 新界面功能包括：可互動的動態磚，通知中心，可能也有磚文件夾（正在開發，類似 WP8.1 Update 文件夾）。Cortana 也會在開始畫面有動態磚，Cortana 界面類似 WP 版，底部有輸入框。

WinBeta 稱不能保證這些功能會出現技術預覽版，微軟將於 9 月 30 日宣布 Windows Threshold，很快就會揭曉。
